This rental is located at 1409 15th Street NW:
The Craigslist ad says:
“This junior one bedroom is everything you want. Right in the center of Logan Circle, walking distance to downtown offices, next door to Wholefoods, cafes, restaurants, gyms, banks, night life, theater and more.
The apartment is furnished, has washer and dry in unit, dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric stove/oven, open layout, hardwood floor, large balcony, pets allowed.
The price includes, electric, internet, water, trash. Apartment available for rent for AUGUST and SEPTEMBER, possibly longer.”
Do you think $1500 sounds reasonable for this 1 bedroom?

I think 20 years from now we will say..."ew"
Living in such a light less place would drive me to self violence.
Yes! How could I have forgotten the sauce. Ohhh, that sauce...
I have a part Oriental of some sort (I think Tonkinese, but will never know for sure),...
I would definitely like to learn more about this... if anyone has info, please share.
This sounds like a GREAT deal.
Agreed. If it’s legit, it’ll get rented today.
I agree, it’s a great deal. The only negative is that it’s only definitely available for August and September. I wouldn’t do it unless I was looking for short-term housing. There are enough people looking for that in D.C.
That’s a big catch. Is this a sublet? If so, a new lease with different terms and pricing might have to be signed in 2 months. If it’s too good to be true…
Doesn’t junior one bedroom essentially mean a studio?
Odd– this seems too good to be true. It is likely gone already if it is a real deal.
I lived in this building and there is a separate bedroom, but its only big enough for a queen size bed. Still, it was a GREAT location, great sized apartment for one person, and balcony is a total score. The person who snags this deal for $1500 is lucky!
