Well this is pretty cool. From WMATA:

Metro riders have the opportunity to purchase half-price Arena Stage tickets for the inaugural season of the Mead Center for American Theater.

On “Metro Mondays,” riders who present their SmarTrip® cards or Metro fare cards at the Arena Stage box office after noon, will be eligible to purchase half-price tickets to that week’s performances. Tickets are subject to availability and limited to two per customer.

The Mead Center is one block from the Waterfront-SEU Metrorail station on the Green Line. Metrobus routes 70, 71, V7, V9, P1 and P2, as well as the DC Circulator Convention Center-Southwest Waterfront route also serve the theater area.

For information on how to plan your trip to Arena Stage, visit www.MetroOpensDoors.com. For information on tickets and performances, visit http://www.arenastage.org/.
