Ritz Camera Downsizing Downtown as Retail Juggling Continues on 1700 Block of L Street, NW

Back in October 2011 we learned that Verizon Wireless was moving next door to the former Spezie restaurant at 1742 L St, NW. This weekend I noticed signs went up announcing who will be moving into the former Verizon spaces. Turns out it will be a MyEyeDr:

and a Ritz Camera:

Of course there is already a large Ritz Camera at the corner of 18th and L St, NW:

When I spoke to folks at the corner Ritz location they thought the current store would be closed and they’d be moved into the new space by the end of March. The new space is about half the size of the current space. The downsizing of this Ritz follows the news of Penn Camera’s bankruptcy and closing not too far away at 1015 18th Street, NW.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
